Located in Nadiad city of Gujarat (India), Centre for Robotic Surgery (CRS) is an initiative of Muljibhai Patel Urological Hospital (MPUH). Popularly known as the ‘Nadiad Kidney Hospital’, MPUH started in 1978 and is the first super speciality hospital in India devoted entirely to Nephrology and Urology. Centre for Robotic Surgery was started with the vision to provide our patients the best facilities along with advanced technology to fulfill their need for minimal hospital stay while also reducing the morbidity rate. Our motto is – “Every Life Deserves World-Class Care” and we stay true to it by providing the best-in-class Urology and Nephrology treatments to patients from all over the world.
Centre for Robotic Surgery uses the ‘da Vinci Si® Surgical System’, one of the most advanced robotic surgery systems used by some of the leading hospitals all over the world. Robotic Surgery is a minimally invasive approach which uses the latest surgical and robotics technologies for conducting delicate surgical processes.

Our high quality management and infrastructure are complemented by a team of expert doctors led by Dr. Mahesh Desai (Medical Director & Managing Trustee of MPUH), who provide their patients clinical services of global standard for urology & nephrology.
We have been able to offer advanced treatments and ultramodern infrastructure to our patients with the help of philanthropic gestures from society and the trustees of the hospital. Besides investing in technology and infrastructure upkeep, we use these donations for rendering pro-bono services to those who can’t afford the treatment. The cost of free treatment we have rendered so far exceeds 100 million INR, and it is our endeavour to continue providing the best possible medical care to everyone at affordable price.
