Dear Friends,

JPAC organized a successful single port surgery instruction courses in
last 2 years. More than 300 delegates watched an expert multi-disciplinary
faculty perform a wide variety of cases. Since then the field, now called
Laparo-Endoscopic Single Site (LESS) surgery has progressed
exponentially and more than 1000 LESS procedures have been performed

Warm greetings from Nadiad.

We are organizing a full day seminar on “Nephrology update for physicians” on 13th March, 2011, Sunday at our institute.

This meeting is designed to provide practical and state of the art information on diagnosis and management of renal disorders.

This meeting should provide intensive review for the students of general medicine as well as practicing physicians who wish to update their nephrology skills. There will be ample opportunity for interaction with the faculty.

On Saturday, the 19th of February 2011, Muljibhai Patel Urological Hospital conducted an In-house teaching programme for the hospital's nursing staff. This was part of the on-going teaching and training programme for the staff.

ARISE - Anaesthesia Related Integrated Short Education Programme - this is our initiative with a mission to provide high quality, unbiased continuousmedical education resources to anaesthesiologists. Our aim is to provide evidence based comprehensive knowledge to all our colleagues who are seeking reliable and timely information regarding anaesthesiology by means of CME and workshop on different topics. The programme will be especially useful to PG students for examinations as well as in practice.

The Special Walk was a grand success. More than 400 people from all walks of life participated in the WALKATHON and LECTURES on kidney and urological diseases that followed the walk.
